    Please read carefully before submitting your application. All applications must be submitted online. Paper applications will not be accepted. No exceptions. Part of our selection process is to see if you are able to follow instructions completely and accurately.
    1. Please make sure you have emailed your counselor, current English teacher and current Math teacher before completing this application. You will need to email them their respective links to their Recommendation Forms below, asking them to complete the forms BEFORE the deadline. If they refuse to complete the recommendation, please enter their email address in the box on page 9 so that we may reach out to them.

    2. Please make sure you read and answer everything thoroughly.
    3. Answer all questions to the best of your ability. There are no right or wrong answers. We want you to be honest and open so that we can get a good sense of who you are and what you want out of our program.
    4. You are responsible for making sure your application is complete and all documentation* is included. 

     

    * If you do not have access to a scanner here are some options for you:

    • ANDROID USERS: You can download a free scanner app from the Google Playstore here
    • iPHONE USERS: You can use the scanner app in the Notes section of your iPhone
    • ALL USERS: Take a photo on your phone, email it to yourself, save it to your computer, upload the image (please ensure they are CLEAR and legible)

    If you are unable to upload your documents, you can email them to: admission.mchs@wccusd.net. Please include the student's name in the subject line, and include the date you submitted the rest of the application. Failure to submit the required documentation correctly, with the requested information, will render your application incomplete and will not be accepted.

     

    Acceptance and non-acceptance emails will be sent after 4 pm on May 1st, once all applications have been reviewed and our panel decides on their final selections.

     

     Late applications will not be accepted.

    Submissions will not be allowed after 11:59 pm on March 31st.

     

    You will be taken to a Thank You page once you have submitted your application.

    If you do not see the Thank You page, please go back to review and resubmit.

    We want you to handwrite your essay so that we can see your penmanship, your word and sentence structure, and your attention to detail without artificial auto-corrects in a typed document. We are not looking for perfection. Your writing is a reflection of you, so this is our way of getting to know you. Please use your own words and ideas.

  • MCHS offers an Associated Student Body (ASB) Leadership class that is open to all grade levels. ASB Leadership is the heart of the school! This course is designed for a group of students who wish to participate and take leadership roles in school events. Leadership students help organize and run school activities. The class not only enables the students to become active around the school but it also teaches them a set of leadership skills they can use in the future. Leadership students are expected to be self-motivated and willing to contribute their time and ideas for the benefit of the school. ASB Leadership is a fun course that enables students to interact and make important decisions for the student body.

  • By signing below, you understand that you must follow the MCHS EdPlan, including the math placement as designated by the MCHS admin. You understand that you will be placed in high school Algebra 1 or Geometry the first semester unless proof of college-level credit is attached to this application. You also agree, that if you are accepted into the MCHS program, you may not take any college-level courses during the summer, or you may get your acceptance revoked. You are also attesting that the above responses were all composed, written, and selected by you.
