    Boat Race Officials (BROs) and volunteers play an essential role in delivering safe, fair and successful rowing events across South Australia.

    Whether you are new to rowing, a returning volunteer, a parent, supporter or experienced official, we greatly appreciate your interest in becoming involved.

    This form is used to:

    • register your interest in volunteering
    • collect initial contact and compliance information
    • help us allocate training and mentoring opportunities
    • begin your BRO onboarding process
    • Volunteer membership with Rowing SA is free.

    Additional induction and training requirements will be completed prior to commencing official duties.

    To volunteer with Rowing SA, volunteers are required to:

    • hold a valid and not prohibited Working With Children Check (WWCC)
    • comply with Rowing SA and Rowing Australia policies
    • complete required induction and training processes

    • you will receive information regarding induction and training opportunities
    • a mentor or experienced official may be assigned to assist you during your training
