Heeling for Competition / Obedience
 Heeling is one of the most basic skills that every dog should be able to accomplish.  It is a skill that must continue to be worked on throughout your dog's career.  This class will be teaching the handler heeling skills for you and your dog. 
Your dog needs to have passed the Canine Good Citizen test prior to taking this class.

 Instructor - Ranee Nevels
Ranee has many years of experience with Conformation, Obedience, Rally, Hunting and recently added Agility to her repertoire.

She has raised, bred, trained and enjoyed her Chesapeake Bay Retrievers for 50 years and has also owned Golden Retrievers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

Class Requirements

Dogs attending this class need to have passed the Canine Good Citizen test and be current on all vaccinations.  Proof of vaccinations and CGC should be sent to  ClarksvilleKennelClub@gmail.com prior to the first night of class.

Class Location, Dates & Times

Classes are held at the Clarksville Kennel Club Training Building - 114 Kraft Street, Bldg. D, Clarksville, TN

This is a 6-week course meeting on Monday nights from 4:00-5:00pm starting on March 2, 2026.

Class is limited to six (6) spots. Refunds will only be issued if your spots can be filled from the waitlist.

If the class shows as "Sold Out" below, please submit your email address to be added to the waitlist and notified of the next class.

All classes provided by the Clarksville Kennel Club are NOT for aggressive dogs.  A dog showing aggression, and/or that is uncontrollable, will be immediately excused for the remainder of the class session for the safety of others.  No refund for remaining classes will be given.

PAYMENT

Payment is due to complete your registration.  Payment will be made using PayPal.  5% is added to cover fees.
