FUNDET Application Form

This packet allows you to be officially considered for the FUNDET Scholarship program at Salt Lake Tech (STEC), Mountainland, and Ogden-Weaver (OTEC) Technical Colleges. Please read the instructions carefully to assure that you can comply with scholarship criteria, requirements, and guidelines.

FUNDET sponsored students must meet the following criteria:
- Have the math, English and prerequisites to be admitted into the program.
- Be a Hispanic/Latino enrolled in a technical training to enter the workforce.
- Commit to program completion.
- Contribute 25% to 50% of the program tuition, fees, plus books and supplies.
- Maintain 90% attendance and 90% completion for the length of the program.
- Commit to 10 hours of community service for the length of the program.
- Meet with the FUNDET program mentor for the Monthly Progress Interview.

FUNDET students don't need to reimburse the financial assistance. In turn, students are required to complete 10 hours of community service a month for the length of the program. How and where are you planning to do your community hours?
