  • DEADLINES + REQUIREMENTS

    The 2026 Western Legislative Academy will convene December 15 – 18, 2026.  

    Applicants must be within their first four years of cumulative legislative service.

    Completed applications should include:

    • Online application information, as requested below;
    • Two letters of recommendation addressed to the CSG West Executive Committee, from legislative colleagues or elected state officials; and
    • A short bio or resume

    Applications must be completed and received no later than Friday, May 1, 2026.

    • Dedication to public service
    • Desire to improve your personal effectiveness as a legislator
    • Committment to the institution of the legislature
    • Interest in improving the legislative process
