Wallace-Hall Kids: Art from the HeART is a Valentine's-themed exhibition that celebrates young artists as they explore love, emotion, and imagination. It offers a joyful space for children to create, grow, and proudly share their heartfelt work with the community. As part of our co-op gallery model, community participation is essential to the success of this exhibition. One of the most helpful ways to contribute is by sitting at the gallery during open hours. Each artist is asked to sign up for two four-hour shifts, ideally alongside your artist. This helps ensure the space remains accessible for all visitors. Your presence plays a meaningful role in supporting this shared creative effort. Thank you for being an integral part of this community! The signup will be sent to all participants after the submission deadline in January.
The exhibition will be on display at Wallace-Hall Art House, 210 S. Main Street, Mansfield, TX from Saturday, January 31, 2026 through Saturday, February 21, 2026. Join us for a free opening reception on Saturday, January 31 from 4 to 6 p.m. All are welcome to celebrate our young artists.

The deadline for submission is January 18.

Artwork Submission

Artists may submit up to 2 pieces of artwork. We will take as many artworks as possible, but if we have a huge number of entries, we may only get to display one artwork. Please submit your favorite piece first. We are able to hang 2D Framed artwork and we can display 3D sculptural pieces on pedestals. *If you need assistance with frames, we can provide frames that will fit an 8.5x11" piece of paper (Standard copy paper). If your artwork is larger, you will need to provide the frame. All flat artwork must have a hook, or wired on the back in order to hang on the wall.
