  • Enhancing Civil Society Capacity for Governance of Environmental Transparency
and Accountability in Trinidad and Tobago’s Extractive Industries

The Civil Society constituency of the Trinidad and Tobago Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (TTEITI) invites Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to help strengthen civil society’s role in ensuring transparency and accountability in T&T’s oil, gas and mining sectors. This survey will help us design targeted training, build a stronger, engaged CSO network and develop a transparent process to select civil society representatives for TTEITI’s Multi-Stakeholder Group. By participating, your organisation will contribute to a more informed, inclusive and impactful civil society voice. The TTEITI MSG was established in 2010 under Cabinet Minute No. 716 and restructured under Cabinet Minute No, 2738. It is mandated to oversee the implementation of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) in Trinidad and Tobago. The MSG includes representatives from the government, state enterprises, the extractive industries, and civil society.
