    Glynwood trains future farmers through the Hudson Valley Apprentice (HVA) program: a decentralized apprenticeship that provides education, training and mentoring at farms across the Mid-Hudson Valley. If after reviewing the HVA Overview (linked below) you feel that this program would be a good fit for you, please complete this interest form. Glynwood program managers will review your responses to assess your approval for participation. Note that if you are approved as a candidate for the apprenticeship, you will need to apply to specific jobs with participating HVA farms.

    Please note the following minimum qualifications required by the Hudson Valley Apprenticeship program:
    • 18 years of age
    • GED/HS Diploma or equivalent
    • Legal authorization to work in the USA
    • Prior farm experience

  • Completing this form is the first step towards determining eligibility to participate in the Hudson Valley Apprenticeship. This form is not meant to replace a job application to a mentor farm. You will need to submit an application to work with the mentor/host farm(s) you are interested in. Once approved through the pre-approval process, you will receive a list of participating mentor farms for the upcoming season. 

    It is your responsibility to look for job openings on each participating mentor farm's individual website or on listservs. 

    Note that you do not need to wait for pre-approval to apply to job postings on mentor farms.
