Private Class Description
We are pleased to partner with the Lumberton School of Music to offer private instrument lessons as part of the Mariella Montessori learning community. Lessons are led by Tom Long Jr., Director of the Lumberton School of Music and also the teacher of our Music Exploration program. An accomplished jazz musician and experienced educator with decades of professional performance, recording, and teaching experience, his approach blends strong musical foundations with encouragement, patience, and responsiveness to each child’s learning style. Private lessons provide students the opportunity to pursue individual musical study, develop technical skills, deepen musical understanding, and grow in focus, discipline, and artistic expression - all within a supportive and inspiring educational environment.
