I understand that ASI seeks to avoid litigation over elections and that this agreement, if signed by me, constitutes my promise and agreement to not personally file a lawsuit solely about the election for the office for which I am a candidate.

    • I have been provided access to the current ASI Elections Code. I have read the ASI Elections Code including parts IX and X that govern the filing and resolution of ASI elections complaints. I understand the election complaint resolution provisions of that Code, and I will adhere to them in the event I file an election complaint. I further agree that the elections complaint procedures and remedies contained in the ASI Elections Code are the sole and exclusive means by which I can seek a remedy for any and all complaints I might file solely over the election for the office for which I am a candidate. I also agree that all decisions by the Elections Complaint Committee which are not appealed to the Appellate Council are final. I also agree that all decisions of the Appellate Council are final.

    • Conflict of Interest: I have reviewed the members of the Election Complaint Committee and Appellate Council and understand that if I have a concern regarding a possible conflict of interest, I must submit a statement of concern to the Vice President of Student Affairs for resolution.

    • I realize and fully appreciate that by signing this agreement that if I do file a complaint I am agreeing to abide by the results of the elections complaint resolution process contained in the ASI Elections Code and that:

I HEREBY RELINQUISH ALL RIGHTS AND OPPORTUNITIES I MAY HAVE TO FILE A LAWSUIT OR SEEK RELIEF OTHER THAN THAT AVAILABLE IN THE ASI ELECTIONS CODE FOR ANY COMPLAINT OF MINE SOLELY WITH RESPECT TO THE OUTCOME OF THE ELECTION FOR THE OFFICE FOR WHICH I AM A CANDIDATE.
