    This award honors an individual who has made a significant impact on the parks and recreation profession within District 10 over the past year. The recipient demonstrates exceptional leadership, mentorship, and dedication through active participation in District 10 initiatives, professional development, volunteerism, and/or advocacy for the field. Their contributions strengthen the profession, support their peers, and/or enhance community recreation across District 10.
  • Eligibility

    • Must be a current District 10 member.
    • Demonstrated impact within the past year through leadership, mentorship, service, or advocacy.
    • Contributions should advance the profession, strengthen District 10, or enhance community recreation.
    • Shows active participation in District 10 programs, initiatives, or events.

    In 400 words or less, describe how this individual has made a meaningful impact on the parks and recreation profession within CPRS District 10 over the past year. In your response, address how the nominee has demonstrated excellence in leadership, service, engagement, and/or advocacy. Provide specific examples that highlight:

    • Leadership in Advancing District 10: How the nominee’s innovation, collaboration, or initiative has strengthened District 10's programs, visibility, or professional growth.

    • Contribution to District 10 Growth and Engagement: Efforts that have expanded member participation, professional connections, or community involvement within District 10.

    • Service and Volunteer Impact: Roles on boards, committees, or projects that have supported District 10 operations, events, or strategic goals.

    • Advocacy and Commitment to District 10 Values: Actions that promote District 10’s mission and elevate the parks and recreation profession through advocacy, mentorship, or partnerships.
