Dear Ski Friends,
The 58th Annual Bruno Engler Ski Race, sponsored by Mt Norquay, will take place on March 2, 2026 this year. We invite you to participate in the longest consecutively running annual ski race in Canadian history, a Norquay tradition that continued to celebrate the heart and history of our mountain community.
As part of our 100-Year Celebration and Day of Nostalgia, we've refreshed the event format. This year there will be no lunch service, the day will focus on the race itself, followed by an awards reception and cocktails at Kika's to celebrate the winners and the incredible legacy of Bruno Engler.
The race remains a two-run GS held on Cascade, finishing in front of the Day Lodge, with trophies and medals awarded.
The Bruno Engler Family Race also returns, inviting parents and children (17 and under) to compete together for the Berchtold Trophy honouring the fastest family.
A digital race photograph is included with your entry fee.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone on the hill for a day of friendly competition, nostalgia, and celebration of what makes Norquay truly special.
