I understand that potential risks include (but are not limited to):
Redness, heat, swelling, “sunburn” feeling
Temporary pigment changes (hyper or hypopigmentation)
Blistering or scabbing (rare)
Hair reduction results vary based on hormones, skin type, and hair color
Multiple sessions are required for best results
PRE-TREATMENT REQUIREMENTS
I understand that:
The treatment area must be clean-shaven (for hair removal).
No sun exposure, tanning beds, or spray tans 2 weeks before.
No makeup, deodorant, or lotions on the area.
POST-TREATMENT CARE
I agree to follow the aftercare provided, including:
Avoiding sun exposure, heat, exercise, hot showers, and saunas for 24–48 hours.
Using SPF 30+ daily.
Not picking, scratching, or exfoliating treated skin.
Expecting shedding of hair 7–14 days after hair-removal sessions.
RESULTS & EXPECTATIONS
I understand that:
IPL is not guaranteed to remove 100% of hair.
Skin rejuvenation results vary by pigmentation, age, and number of sessions.
A series of 6–10 treatments is typically recommended.
Maintenance sessions may be required.

I release the technician and clinic from liability for reactions due to withheld information or failure to follow pre/post care instructions.
