About the Curator Sun Queen:
Sun Queen is a poet, teaching artist, curator, and community organizer whose work stands at the intersection of art activism, and radical love. Art Without a Home continues their commitment to centering deeply affordable housing, unhoused community members, and their stories that shape our humanity. Sun's leadership invites artists, neighbors, and audiences to imagine what liberation looks like when we create it together.
About the Exhibition: We're calling all artist, visionaries, and creators with something powerful to say. Art Without a Home is more than an exhibition. It's a living, breathing conversation about community, dignity, and the power of creativity in the face of displacement.
Themes may include: The housing crisi and systemic displacement. Survival, resilience, and community support. What "home means( and what happens when denied) Radical care, hope, resistance, and justice.
