Dear Board of Parole Commissioners,

While I recognize the seriousness of Mr. McClary’s crime, I also understand that he has paid a heavy price for the mistake he made 38 years ago.

Despite 5 years in solitary confinement from ages 23-28, he began a long and dedicated journey of rehabilitation. His achievements while incarcerated are innumerable and I have confidence that when released, the man he is today will be an asset to society.

I believe that David McClary has earned the right to a second chance at life, and I urge you to grant him parole.
