Fangs Gallery: A Nordic Vampire the Masquerade One-Shot Larp

Roughly one third of the characters in this game are mortal, one third are ghouls or thin-bloods, and one third are full-blooded vampires.

Power level will not affect how much influence you have on the plot. High powered characters tend to have some significant roleplaying challenges, such as being evil, unhinged, or persued by enemies.

Fangs Gallery is a vampire game, and vampires really suck. Their relationships are inherently unbalanced and parasitic.

This game has a massive content warning for coercive relationships, many of which are supernaturally reinforced by Disciplines or the Blood Bond. You can opt out of some of this, such as being subject to the Blood Bond, but you should be aware that intense power imbalances permeate this game.

Some characters lend themselves to elaborate costumes and makeup. Both vampires and mortals lean into vintage looks, blacks or limited color palettes, bold silhouettes, and anything that makes a statement. 

Others are a good fit for players who prefer something simple. Jeans and a black t-shirt are a timeless look, and adding a sport coat or a leather jacket makes it a costume.

We'll have a photographer shooting both film and digital photography at the game.

We can't promise your preferred costuming style, but knowing what you like might influence your casting.

Tell us with whom you’d like to play closely and the types of dynamics you’d enjoy or want to skip.

You can be as specific as you’d like. For example:

• "I’m friends with Sascha, Lucita, Victoria, and Fatima, and would love to be connected with any of them if the plot allows."
• "No romance with Anatole. He’s my brother, and that would be weird!"
• "I’d like to avoid close connections to Aisling, especially rivalries or romance."
• “Please cast me as far from Fatima as possible. It would be great if we don’t even talk to each other during the game.”
• "I’d like to play closely with Theo. He’s a new player, so I’d like to play someone supportive and unlikely to backstab his character."
• "The only player I know is Beckett, and I’d love a connection with them, especially if I get to backstab them!"
• “I’m comfortable exploring the Blood Bond with Isabel or Jan, but not with players who I don’t already know and trust.”

We’ll do our best to balance connection requests with the rest of your survey, but we may not be able to grant every request.

Fangs Gallery will utilize the main floor of the Hub NWI. Check-in and the main play space can be accessed via stairs or a ramp.

Stairs are required to reach the bottom level where ops and the dressing room are located. There are no required parts of the game downstairs, and there are bathrooms upstairs where you can get dressed or touch up your makeup.

The Hub NWI has gender neutral, ADA accessible bathrooms on the main level. There is also a bathroom downstairs near the dressing area.

An out-of-character space will be available throughout the game.
