SINDA PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
1. SINDA respects your privacy. In this application form, we have requested personal information of you / your child/ward (and your family members’ personal information where applicable).
2. For us to assist you effectively, your personal information may be collected, used or disclosed for the following purposes:
- evaluation of your application;
- general administration in providing our services or assistance;
- monitoring our compliance;
- sharing programmes/assistance schemes offered by SINDA;
- evaluation and analysis of the programme;
- understand and study the profile of the stakeholders for SINDA’s policymaking and planning;
- generate publicity materials for our events and programmes
- any other purpose reasonably in connection with the above.
3. We may disclose your personal information to with other government agencies or partners of SINDA for you to benefit from the various programmes and services that may be provided by them. We have non-disclosure agreements with our partners to assure us that they will act in compliance with their personal data obligations and keep your personal information confidential.
4. If you have provided your family members’ personal information, you confirm that they have been informed of the contents of this notice and have consented to the collection, use or disclosure of their personal information for the purposes stated in this notice.
5. We have implemented generally accepted standards of technology and operational security to protect the personal data in our possession or under our control and to prevent unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks. All SINDA staff follows a network-wide security policy. Only authorised SINDA staffs are provided access to personally identifiable information and these personnel have agreed to ensure confidentiality of this information.
6. The terms of this notice shall be in addition to all other terms of the service or assistance that may apply to you. You may also find more information about SINDA’s data policy at www.sinda.org.sg.
7. You have the right to withdraw your consent given hereunder, whether in part or as a whole. However, your withdrawal of consent could mean that we will not be able to continue with your child/ward’s relationship with us. 8. SINDA may at any time in their sole and absolute discretion request for additional information to (i) assess or reassess the financial situation of my household; and (ii) to reassess the financial assistance to be provided to my child/children in the course of the calendar year.
