WACO BAPTIST CHURCH — FACILITY USE AGREEMENT
By submitting this application, the applicant and all individuals executing or associated with this application (“Applicant”) hereby acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Waiver of Liability
The Applicant expressly waives any and all claims, demands, liabilities, or causes of action that may arise against Waco Baptist Church, located at 34 Atlantic Avenue, Waco, Georgia 30182, as a result of the Applicant’s use of church facilities pursuant to this application. This waiver includes, but is not limited to, any claims for personal injury, property damage, or loss occurring on church premises during the period of use.
2. Indemnification and Hold Harmless
The Applicant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Waco Baptist Church, including its pastors, officers, employees, volunteers, ministries, and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, attorney fees, and costs of litigation arising out of or connected with the Applicant’s use of church facilities. This includes actions by the Applicant’s members, guests, participants, employees, contractors, or agents.
3. Conduct and Facility Restrictions
The Applicant agrees to the following: No use, possession, or distribution of alcohol, tobacco, vaping products, illegal substances, or any materials inconsistent with the beliefs, mission, or reputation of Waco Baptist Church.
No use of flammable, hazardous, or dangerous materials or equipment in any church facility or on church property.
All activities must be conducted in a respectful and orderly manner and must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as church policies.
4. Fees, Deposits, and Conditions of Use
Non-Members: A $150 refundable deposit and a $100 non-refundable reservation fee are required at the time of booking. The deposit will be refunded only if all cleanliness, care, and facility-use expectations are met following the event.
WacoBC Members/Watch Care: No deposit or reservation fee is required. However, if the facility is not returned to its original condition, a $100 cleaning/damage fee may be assessed.
You can send a check to P.O. Box 4, Waco, GA 30182 or go to our website at www.wacobc.org and choose "Facility Reservation Deposit & Fee". Note: a small fee will be assessed for online payments when the deposit is returned.
All payments are expected no later than 3 days prior to the event.
All Applicants agree to leave the facility in the same or better condition than it was found.
5. Church Rights and Termination
Waco Baptist Church reserves the right to review, limit, deny, or terminate any application or facility use at its sole discretion. Either party may terminate this agreement with written notice at least five (5) days prior to the scheduled use. The church may terminate immediately if policies are violated or activities are deemed unsafe or inconsistent with church values.
