Rented or Leased Premises – Organisation Feedback Questionnaire
We want to hear from organisations across Glasgow’s voluntary sector who are experiencing challenges with the buildings or spaces they rent, lease, or occupy.
We have had some organisations that are telling us they face barriers when trying to maintain or improve their premises, manage costs, or address issues with their landlords. These challenges can affect financial stability, service delivery, energy use, and even sustainability.
This questionnaire aims to capture your experiences so we can better understand how widespread the issues are and work together toward fairer, more sustainable solutions.
Are you renting, leasing, or otherwise occupying a building where:
You have limited control over heating, energy systems, building infrastructure, or essential utilities.
You cannot make changes or improvements - even basic repairs or energy‑efficiency measures - due to restrictions in your tenancy or lease.
You are unclear about which responsibilities lie with you and which lie with your landlord.
You have received large or unexpected increases in rent, service charges, or maintenance costs.
You are experiencing other property, maintenance, energy, or environmental issues that you are struggling to resolve with your landlord.
If any of this sounds familiar, we would really appreciate it if you could complete this questionnaire.
Why take part?
The Climate Action Hub is already supporting several organisations experiencing challenges in these areas. Many of these groups struggle to engage landlords or move improvements forward.
By gathering more evidence about the scale and nature of these issues, we can advocate more effectively for practical, sector-wide solutions.
Will my landlord know I took part?
No. All responses are strictly confidential.
We will anonymise and summarise the findings to show the overall scale of the problem, not to identify individual cases.
