Cevin Parker is a Berlin based painter whose practice channels emotion through color. Working in abstraction, he builds his compositions from soft gradients, suspended gestures, and fluid bands of pigment that seem to hover in place. Behind A Dream, Parker’s debut presentation with Square One Gallery, brings together his Dreamland series, a body of work shaped by the subtle architecture of dreams. These paintings unfold across pastel horizons and weightless spaces, where ribbons of acrylic appear to float, twist, or dissolve. The backgrounds, created through layered spray paint, hold a quiet glow that anchors the energetic movements above them. Within this tension, Parker captures the shifting emotional terrain of the subconscious.
