A level B2/C1 is required for the IB Programme. Your English level will be assessed during the IB selection interview. However, please note that an official English certificate (IELTS or TOEFL) will be required later for the exchange, included into the IB Programme. That English certificate will therefore have to be submitted along with your exchange application file (please check the deadlines for the application to a regular exchange programme) and the minimum required score is 6.5 for IELTS (academic) and 89 for TOEFL (iBT). You can be exempted of this certificate if English is your mother tongue or if you obtained a bachelor degree entirely taught in English.
