Funding Cuts Impact Survey

The Foraker Group is conducting this new statewide survey to understand how government funding cuts and policy changes continue to affect Alaska’s nonprofit organizations and tribes. Findings will provide important information for sharing with elected officials and the public.

Your responses will be visible to Foraker staff and the team working on this report. Your data will be stored at Foraker. We will not sell your information to any outside organization, government, or other entity, nor will we share the raw data with anyone not working directly on the report itself. A final report will be published and shared by Foraker, and every effort will be made to maintain the anonymity of your individual responses. 

We are seeking to understand the challenges nonprofits in Alaska face right now, but we also want to hear about success stories. We know that some organizations are struggling right now, while others may not be. We want to hear stories from all points on the spectrum.

The survey takes 20-25 minutes to complete and will close on Wednesday, December 31. We recommend completing the survey from a computer or tablet for the best viewing. 

This survey is set up in multiple parts. We begin by asking about your organization and your revenue sources. We then ask about recent changes and impacts on your organization. Lastly, we ask about the current working climate in your organization and your outlook for the future.

If your nonprofit is part of a larger group (such as a local chapter of a national organization), please respond only for your local organization.

If any questions do not apply to your organization, please choose “Not Applicable” or another appropriate response. Even if you cannot answer every question, any information you submit is helpful.
