  • At PRG we are dedicated to supporting breast and gynecological cancer survivors from diagnosis through survivorship.

Linked by Hope is a support group for teens ages 14–18 who have been directly impacted by cancer-whether a parent or guardian is currently in treatment, has survived, or has passed away from the disease.

The group meets monthly on the first Sunday of each month from 6–7 PM.

Parental/guardian consent is required for attendance.

This group offers a safe, understanding space where teens can connect with others who “get it,” share their experiences, build coping tools, and feel supported by peers navigating similar challenges.

    What You’ll Experience:

    • Opportunities to connect with other teens who understand the emotional impact of cancer in the family
    • Guidance on healthy ways to cope with stress, uncertainty, grief, or changing family dynamics
    • Strategies for communicating feelings, setting boundaries, and asking for support
    • Activities that promote self-expression, resilience, and emotional well-being
    • A confidential, judgment-free environment facilitated by a peer with personal experience and professionally supported by a licensed clinical social worker

    Why it Matters:

When cancer affects a parent or caregiver, it can bring confusion, stress, sadness, or a sense of isolation. Many teens feel pressure to stay strong, keep up with school, or support their families while managing their own emotions.

Linked by Hope provides a dedicated space just for them-a place to talk openly, feel understood, build strength, and learn tools that can make everyday life more manageable. No teen should navigate these feelings alone.

Please RSVP at least 24 hours in advance—you’ll receive a Zoom link by email before the event.

    Disclaimer:
This support group provides a safe environment for sharing experiences but should not be considered therapy or medical guidance. Any mental health, safety, or medical concerns should be discussed with a qualified healthcare professional or trusted adult. Parental guardian consent is required for attendance.
