The St. Louis Regional Healthcare Coalition (RHCC) is hosting an awareness-level training on the updated Healthcare Multi-Agency Coordination System (HMACS) Response Plan. The St. Louis RHCC HMACS Response Plan consolidates and replaces multiple emergency response plans and serves as a coordination tool among key coalition partners: Healthcare and Hospitals, Public Health, Emergency Medical Services, Emergency Management, Mass Fatality, and the St. Louis Fusion Center. This plan is activated during major disasters that significantly impact the region's ability to meet health and medical needs.
This training is designed to give coalition members a broad overview of the plan updates and demonstrate the utility of the plan and HMACS response system.
