Dear Colleagues,
The Academy for Eating Disorders (AED) Nominations Committee invites you to nominate members for one or more of the following Board of Directors and Nominations Committee positions for the 2026-2029 term. Additionally, we are accepting nominations for 2026 AED award recipients. For each nominee, you should submit a CV and a brief (no more than 250 words) letter of support outlining the rationale for their nomination. Please note that current members of the Nominations Committee are not eligible to write letters of support on behalf of candidates. For Board of Directors and Nominations Committee positions, please confirm their willingness to serve before making the nomination.
In line with AED’s Strategic Plan—which aims to cultivate a diverse and global community of professionals—the AED would again like to offer special encouragement to consider nominating individuals who have been historically under-represented among AED’s leaders and awardees.
Nominations will be accepted until 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time (UTC-5) on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Nominations received after this time will not be accepted or considered.
