    Rules:

    1. Never trespass on private property. We only investigate when we have proper permission.


    2. No drugs or alcohol will be consumed before or during an investigation.
    3. Always investigate in teams of two, never alone. *situation dictates, Lead Investigator’s decision. If alone, investigator must be in view of camera or have active walkie.


    4. Respect the place we are investigating, we are their guests.


    5. If startled or threatened, calmly walk out to safety. Let others know.


    6. Safety is priority. If you find an unsafe area, let everyone know.


    7. We will not litter, vandalize, willfully damage, unlawfully take or disrespect other’s property.


    8. Tobacco products will only be used in designated areas.


    9. Always carry a valid driver’s license or military I.D.


    10. Make no assumptions or opinions to the clients. Never say, “it’s haunted.” We simple show the client our evidence and then the client makes the decision.


    11. We will leave the place investigated as we found it (all trash will be picked up).


    12. Guest Investigators (or other team’s investigators), friends and family are welcome, but will not be allowed to an investigation without approval and will be expected to sign a waiver.


    13. Team members can step down whenever they want without adverse action.


    14. Team members will not use social media outlets to talk negative about other paranormal groups or investigators.


    15. Team members will follow the Paranormal Investigators Confidentiality Agreement and will not release any information without approval from the team.


    16. Safety is priority at Unknown Paranormal and its founders assumes no liability if an injury occurs during an investigation.


    17. All evidence will be reviewed in a timely manner. Remember, our clients are trusting us.


    18. Clients names, addresses, personal information and evidence gathered during an investigation will only be released with the approval of the team. Pictures and videos can be posted with client’s approval AS LONG AS no information about names and locations are included in them.


    19. Dues are $15 a month plus fees, payable on the 1st of every month. Should a member fall two weeks behind, their investigation rights will be revoked. Without dues, we can’t pay the bills or book investigations.


    20. Our investigations is how we practice our tradecraft. Any member missing three investigations in a row, will be removed from the group and placed on the guest list.


    21. Activity is not a request, but a requirement. We use our website to conduct business, and everyone is expected to participate. Should a member fail to respond to multiple polls or events, the member will be removed from the group and placed on the guest list.

    CODE OF ETHICS
    Unknown Paranormal LLC

    Unknown Paranormal LLC is committed to conducting ethical, respectful, and responsible paranormal research and investigations. All members and volunteers are expected to uphold the following principles at all times.

    1. Respect for Clients and Property
    Investigations are conducted only with explicit permission from property owners or authorized representatives.

    Clients are treated with dignity, confidentiality, and empathy.

    No investigation shall interfere with religious beliefs, cultural practices, or personal boundaries.

    Property shall be left in the same or better condition than it was found.

    2. Honesty and Integrity
    Evidence shall not be fabricated, altered, or misrepresented.

    Findings will be reported honestly, including inconclusive or non-paranormal results.

    Unknown Paranormal does not guarantee paranormal activity or outcomes.

    3. No Exploitation
    Unknown Paranormal does not charge fees for investigations.

    Team members shall not solicit donations, tips, or compensation during investigations.

    Clients will never be pressured into follow-up investigations, services, or spiritual practices.

    4. Safety First
    All investigations prioritize the safety of team members, clients, and property.

    Investigations will not proceed in unsafe environments.

    Team members must follow established safety protocols and use equipment responsibly.

    Illegal activity, substance use, or reckless behavior is strictly prohibited.

    5. Evidence-Based Approach
    Investigations are conducted using a rational, evidence-based methodology.

    Natural and environmental explanations are considered before paranormal conclusions.

    Equipment is used as a tool for documentation, not as definitive proof.

    6. Confidentiality
    Client identities, locations, and personal information are kept confidential unless written consent is provided.

    Sensitive cases will not be publicly disclosed without explicit permission.

    7. Media and Documentation
    Audio, video, and photographic documentation will be used responsibly.

    Content shall not sensationalize, exaggerate, or mislead the public.

    Client anonymity will be respected when requested.

    8. Team Conduct
    All members and volunteers represent Unknown Paranormal LLC and are expected to behave professionally.

    Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

    Team members must respect leadership decisions and investigation protocols.

    9. Cultural and Historical Sensitivity
    Historic sites, cemeteries, and culturally significant locations are treated with respect.

    No provocation, taunting, or intentional disruption of environments is permitted.

    10. Accountability
    Violations of this Code of Ethics may result in suspension or removal from the team.

    Leadership reserves the right to take appropriate action to protect the integrity of the organization.

    11. Commitment to Improvement
    Unknown Paranormal strives for continual learning and improvement.

    Feedback from clients, historians, and peers is welcomed when constructive and respectful.
