    Media Accreditation Terms and Conditions

     

    Eligibility:

    • Media accreditation is available to journalists, photographers and videographers who have been commissioned by publications, brands or athletes.
    • Applicants who are photographers and/or videographers must demonstrate that Bicton’s May International Horse Trials is one of multiple events they are covering as part of their commission.
    • Proof of commission (e.g., letter of assignment, contract, or email confirmation) must be provided during the application process.
    • Applicants who are photographers and/or videographers must have Public Liability insurance and by accepting these conditions indemnify the owners and managers of Bicton Arena against all costs claims and other expenses that they may incur from any third party. Evidence of such insurance must be available and produced on request during the Event.

     

    Conditions:

    • Touting for business - either in advance of the event or during the event itself - is strictly prohibited.
    • Accredited media must operate professionally and respectfully, adhering to event protocols and respecting the privacy and safety of competitors and spectators. Any member of the media in breach of these conditions will have their accreditation cancelled, be asked to leave the grounds, and will not be accredited in future.
    • Media wristbands/tabards will be issued via the Media Centre for the event to photographers and videographers accredited and must be worn at all times when working.
    • Use of drones is forbidden at all times unless with prior approval from the media team and organisers.

    Content Creators:

    • A content creator is a member of the media who is working for riders or commercial clients for a fee to produce video content.
    • Filming IS allowed for the CCI2*- L & CCIJ2*- L, CCIP2*, CCI3*- L & CCIYR3*- L, CCI3*- S, CCI4*- S
    • Filming is NOT permitted of the Field Of Play in the FEI Eventing Nations Cup™ 
    • The field of play (FOP) comprises of the following areas:
      • Main arena
      • Warm-up area
      • Kiss & Cry Zone
      • Leaders lounge
      • Entrance/Exit area
      • The cross-country course in Eventing
    • Content creators will receive full access to the media centre and support from the Media Centre team, main arena for the prize giving, refreshments, media centre Wi-Fi.
    • Any footage that is used by the content creator on their own channels should tag the relevant social handles for the Bicton @bicton_arena on Facebook and Instagram

     

    Application Process:

    • Applications must be submitted via the official media accreditation form.
    • All applications will be reviewed, and approval is not guaranteed. 
    • Media accreditation applications must be submitted by Friday 8 May 2026.
