The GetHIRED! internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on technical experience in the delivery of an e-course, while also benefiting from the course content. GetHIRED! is an e-learning course for postdocs planning to enter the academic job market. The interim will support course delivery and aid course instructors.
Eligibility
- Senior graduate student (4th year and up) and postdoc members of the Society for Developmental Biology are eligible.

Duties of the Intern
- Support the technical side of course delivery (e.g. Zoom calls) during online sessions
- Communicate with course participants
- Assist with course updates ahead of the start of the course in April 2026
- Support the instructors during the course
- Once the course ends, assist with conducting evaluation, and with identifying and curating new content for the next iteration.
- The internship will run for a total of 8 months (January - August 2026).
