  • The 2026 Ag Policy Experience (APEX) is a two-night conference provided by the Minnesota FFA Association in partnership with several agricultural stakeholders. The conference is designed for students with strong leadership skills and an interest in government/politics. 

    Students in grades 10-12 are eligible to participate with preference given to students who have not participated in the past and representation from chapters throughout the state. **Note that we will limit chapters to 2 participants as this conference is limited to 50 students. Please list your "priority students" as Student #1 and Student #2 in your registration. Other students listed on your registration will be considered as space allows.

    Cost is $200/student. APEX fees include lodging, meals, transportation once a student has arrived at the conference, conference materials and programming. FFA advisors and students will receive confirmation of their students' participation and an invoice for payment after registration.

    Students should plan to arrive at the conference hotel in St. Paul by 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 1st and should depart from the hotel by 7:45 am on Tuesday, March 3rd. Chapters/advisors are responsible for transporting students and their luggage to the Capitol for FFA Day on the 3rd.

    Registration will close on January 23rd or when the space is full.
