PRSEF Volunteer Registration Form

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for PRSEF. Fill out the form below to share your availability and desired volunteer roles. PRSEF staff and/or Kamin Science Center Volunteer Program staff will follow up to confirm your volunteer shifts and share additional information.
Required Documents & Clearances

Kamin Science Center, part of Carnegie Museums, requires all volunteers to submit a Volunteer Agreement Form as well as the state-mandated clearances. These clearances and agreement form must be current & on file prior to the judge/volunteer shift at PRSEF. This includes (1) Volunteer Agreement Form, (2) Act 33 Child Abuse History Clearance, (3) Act 34 PA State Criminal Clearance, and (4) either the FBI Fingerprint Clearance OR (for those who’ve lived in PA for 10+ years) an FBI Waiver. Further instructions will be shared after you submit this volunteer registration. Do not wait to begin the clearance process until right before PRSEF, as some of these clearances take multiple weeks to return results. If you have obtained these clearances within the past 5 years, we can accept copies of them, and you may not need to complete a new clearance.
