Now is your chance to have your artwork displayed among professional and established artists. Art Leaders Gallery has been Michigan’s leading Fine Art Gallery since 1992 representing local and internationally acclaimed artists.
Whether an entry uses a variety of techniques or a simple approach, it will be judged primarily on how well the student uses their artistic vision to portray their theme.
Requirements:
- Size Restraints: Artwork cannot exceed the FINISHED SIZE of 16”x20”
- Eligible Media: Open to original paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, jewelry, and mixed-media artwork.
- Not accepted: Installation, performance, video, and AI generated artwork
- All accepted artwork must be ready to hang or display prior to drop-off. Artwork on paper must be matted. The finished matted size cannot exceed 16x20. Wet or incomplete artwork will not be accepted.
- Age: Open to South Eastern Michigan High School Students (Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, St. Clair, Lapeer, Genesee, Livingston, Washtenaw, and Monroe counties)
- Entry Fee: $20 per person (up to 3 works)
Important Dates:
- Submission Deadline: January 24, 2026
- Accepted Artists Notified: January 31, 2026
- Artwork Drop Off: February 14 – 28, 2026
- Exhibition & Voting: March 7 - 26, 2026
- Exhibition Reception & Prizes: March 27, 2025, 5-7pm
Prizes: Exhibition will showcase one piece from the top 100 artists chosen by the jurors. Winning pieces will be chosen by a public voting system in gallery only.
- 1st Place People’s Choice: $1,000 & Certificate
- 2nd Place People’s Choice: $750 & Certificate
- Juror Award: $500 & Certificate
- Honorable Mention: Certificate
Submissions: Submissions are online only. We will not accept any in-person submissions. Artwork should only be brought to the gallery if chosen for the show.

Use of Copyrighted Material:
Use of copyrighted material, including any copyrighted artworks, cartoon characters or other such materials is not acceptable in any visual arts submission. All submissions must be one-of-a-kind works.
Marketing:
Please be aware that Art Leaders Gallery may use images of the exhibited submissions as well as the winning students for marketing and social media purposes. We will not share any personal information.
