    The telangana police requires experts in data analytics to augment their current data based research capabilities. These positions, while operating from Telangana police head quaters in Hyderabad, shall be on third party rolls with no automatic right to regularization.

    The Data Analysis function is critical to get a realistic view of crime data. The Analytics Officers shall be responsible for data cleaning, data analytics, preparation of regular and ad hoc reports, and also responsible for creation of data collection formats, forms and other channels.

    Hands-on experience of atleast 24 months in Business Analytics tools such as Tableau/ Microsoft Power BI/ Qlik Sense/ Looker Studio/ Zoho Analytics is an absolute prerequisite for this function.

    Candidates with experience in webform making tools such as Google Forms/ Jotform/ Ycode /Typeform shall be accorded preference. Detailed JD is as given below:

    Qualification

    Any Graduate with 3 years of experience in MIS/ Data Analytics function (and not Data Entry) with experience in collection and aggregation of large volume data from multiple stakeholders, Generation of BI based reports, Data Query using SQL or equivalent syntax and report generation etc.

    Should be less than 45 years as on date of application.

    Experience

    1.      Handson BI Tools experience in any tool as listed above for not less than 2 years

    3.      Report Preparation in Excel using advance formulas

    4.      Experience in making PPTs using various Charts and Tables

    1.      Proficient in SQL Queries using BI platforms or Data Base tools.

    2.      Proficient in MS Excel

    a.      If and Nested IF conditions

    c.      Pivot Table & Pivot Chart

    d.      Text to Column

    e.      Advanced Find and Replace

    f.        H-Lookup & V Look Up

    g.       Data Cleaning

    3.      Web Forms

    a.      Creating online forms for data collection, ex: google forms

    b.      Understanding of various kinds of fields and their usages.

    c.      Live reports generation through Google Sheets etc.

    4.      MS Word

    a.      Mail Merge Function

    5.      Office Basics

    a.      Folder Management

    b.      Version Management of important files

    c.      Auto Back Up to cloud etc.

    d.      Advanced search and find of files

    6.      Preparing periodic statements

    Languages

    Should be fluent in Telugu and Hindi.

    Work Location

    The position will be working out at Telangana Police Head Quarters, Hyderabad.

    Compensation

    The gross remuneration budget is INR 35 thousand per month.

    Initial Tenure

    The tenure of the engagement is co-terminus with the project. The initial employment will be for 1 year. Annual performance appraisals will determine continuity of service, year on year.
