$20 (per day) due before 10am and a minimum of 3 gallons of chili preparedFree entry with minimum of 5 gallons of chili prepared

Please read the following statements and select "Accept" once you are done. If there is anything you don't understand, please select "I have a question" and we will contact you in regards to the statement in question within 48 hours.

Any type of chili may be served as People's Choice chili, but beans must be included.*

Each contestant is responsible for supplying all their own cooking equipment, ingredients, easy-ups, tables, chairs, supplies and utensils. WE DO NOT SUPPLY OR HAVE EXTRA EASY-UPS AND TABLES, YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN.*

The festival organizer will provide a 10X10 area for each contestant to cook and 2 ounce serving cups for cooks to pass out tasting samples.*

If multiple cooks share one booth, each contestant must be prepared to show their own chili - NO COMBINING OF POTS.*

The event organizer and/or Chief Judge has the right to disqualify any contestant who does not prepare the required quantity of People's Choice.*

All cooks are required to get a temporary health permit through the Nevada Department of Behavioral and health Services. The Chief Judge will get you the information on how to secure your permit. You must get this by March 6th 2026 or you will not be able to participate in the cook-off.*

The PC chili that receives the highest number of votes by the public will win. Votes are received through our festival app and/or by handwritten ballots. Handwritten ballots are only given to spectators who don't have access to our app, and their votes are added manually by supervised event staff.*

We thank you for your entry to this year's festival! Your participation helps us raise money for local non-profit organizations who support the youth in our community.

By continuing to focus on keeping youth involved in these events, we ensure that traditions like these will continue on and not fade out over time.
