ELIGIBILITY: Open to all Canadian Law Departments.
This award recognizes a law department that has demonstrated an innovative approach to encourage and promote diverse and inclusive workspaces, either within their company/organization or more broadly across their industry. Nominations should outline how gaps or issues were identified, as well as how solutions were reached and implemented. Ideally, the impact will affect recruiting, hiring retention and advancement practices, as well as other diversity directions. Evidence should be provided of significant and, where possible, measurable impact. Additionally, nominations should articulate how the law department’s approach fits into the bigger picture within the company/organization/industry.
Judges will be looking for the work done to influence policies and procedures that will ensure on-going growth and improvement.
