  • Important Information About This Position:

    Independent Contractor Status: This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not an employment opportunity. As an independent advisor, you will operate your own travel business while benefiting from our host agency support, resources, and supplier relationships. You will be responsible for your own taxes, business expenses, and professional development. This is also a remote position. All agents work remotely.
  • Florida Seller of Travel Licensure:

    All approved advisors must apply for and obtain Florida Seller of Travel licensure as required by state regulations. We will provide guidance through this process, but it is your responsibility to complete the application and maintain active licensure.
  • Host Agency Compliance:

    By joining North Country Travel Planners, you agree to remain in full compliance with our host agency policies, procedures, and standards. This includes adherence to supplier agreements, ethical business practices, professional conduct guidelines, and all regulatory requirements.
  • Membership/Licensing/Technology/Errors & Omissions

    By applying to become an Independent Travel Advisor with North Country Travel Planners, you acknowledge that a small monthly membership fee of $16/month is required to maintain your active status with the agency. This membership provides access to all licensing and technology resources necessary to conduct business under the agency, including (but not limited to) booking credentials for approved partners and suppliers, supplier and partner technology systems, the agency’s CRM platform, and an official company email. The membership fee also includes active Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance coverage for your work performed under the agency and eligibility to obtain industry credentials such as CLIA and IATAN, as applicable. By proceeding, you understand and agree that maintaining this membership in good standing is required for continued access to agency systems, supplier networks, and compliance-related resources.

This application should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.Once submitted, our hiring team will carefully review your information. If selected to move forward, you will be contacted within 7-14 business days with next steps, onboarding details, and your official welcome materials.
