    This is the entry form to The Soham Strength Challenge being held at Soham Fitness Centre on Sunday 1st March 2026. Please fill this form out after making the donation (min. £5) to Andy's Man Club via our Just Giving Page. Note: We will require proof of donation in this form.

    ENTRY WILL CLOSE ON 22/02/2026

    This competition is open to anyone! There will be a crowned male, female and junior first place with an OVERALL CHAMPION scored using the powerlifting DOTS Formula.
    We will be competing following WPC Powerlifting Rules (email will be sent out to you outlining these rules), on a Primal deadlift bar. You are allowed to use powder chalk, talcum powder, and smelling salts.

    Remember:
    - NO Liquid Chalk
    - NO Straps
    - NO Deadlift Suits
    - NO Dropping or Slamming the bar
    - NO Hitching

    If at a later date you wish to withdraw from the competition please fill out the cancellation form.

    WEIGH IN INFORMATION:


    This competition will not be weight class-based. As mentioned above, we will have male, female, and overall winners, all determined by the DOTS formula. DOTS is a method used in powerlifting competitions that takes both body weight and weight lifted into account. Weigh-ins will take place on the day of the competition from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, with the lifting commencing at 11 AM.

  • Waiver and Release of Liability
    By signing this Waiver, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

    1.Voluntary Participation
    I voluntarily choose to participate in the Soham Strength Challenge, held on Sunday, 1st March 2026 at Soham Fitness Centre. I understand that participating in this event involves physical exertion and that there are inherent risks associated with physical activities, including, but not limited to, injury or death. I acknowledge that I have been informed of these risks and I assume all such risks associated with my participation.

    2. Health and Fitness
    I represent and warrant that I am in good physical health and have no medical conditions or injuries that would impair my ability to participate in the Soham Strength Challenge . I understand the importance of consulting with a physician prior to participating in physical activities and have done so, or have determined that it is not necessary for me to consult with a physician.

    3. Assumption of Risk
    I understand that participating in the deadlift competition may involve lifting weights that are heavy and can cause injury if not performed with proper technique and under appropriate supervision. I assume full responsibility for any injury or damage that may result from my participation, including, but not limited to, sprains, strains, fractures, joint injuries, and other physical injuries.

    4. Release of Liability
    In consideration of my participation in the Soham Strength Challenge, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release and hold harmless the Organizer, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action, including but not limited to negligence, arising out of or related to my participation in the Soham Strength Challenge.

    5. Indemnification
    I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer, its officers, employees, volunteers, agents, sponsors, and affiliates from any liability, claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in the Soham Strength Challenge, including any injuries or damages sustained by me or caused to others.

    6. Photographic and Media Release
    I consent to the use of my name, likeness, and any photographs or video recordings taken during the Soham Strength Challenge for promotional, marketing, or media purposes by the Organizer, without compensation. I waive any right to inspect or approve such materials before they are used.

    7. Event Modifications and Cancellations
    I acknowledge that the Organizer reserves the right to modify or cancel the Soham Strength Challenge in the event of unforeseen circumstances. I understand that the Organizer is not responsible for any costs or damages incurred as a result of such modifications or cancellations.
