Out with the old, in with the cold - and in with the new! Dive right into the New Year with California State Parks' first annual polar bear plunge at South Cardiff State Beach!
Time: 10 am – 12 pm
Location: South Cardiff State Beach
What to Expect:This event is FREE to participate and is considered a true “polar plunge” with participants submerging themselves in cold water at their own discretion.
Participants must be confident in their swimming abilities and be aware of inherent risks around the ocean. Be prepared with a swimsuit, towel, sun protection and drinking water. Wetsuits, extra towels and warm layers are encouraged.
Warm drinks and firepits will be available free of charge while supplies last, don't forget to Brrrr-ing Your Own Mug!
