Quoting process
To receive a quote for a new website build or redesign, I require a completed web design brief with as much information as possible. The brief is to include number of menu pages, functionality type (i.e. contact form, image/logo carousel, etc) features (blog, ecommerce store, directory) etc.
To secure availability
A 50% deposit is required at the time of approving the quote to secure in availability.
Additional costs - web hosting, domain name, premium themes/plugins, etc.
Before commencement begins, we will need to discuss the purchase of your domain name and hosting, if not already done, and what plan would suit you best.
Our quotes do not include costs for: website hosting/plans, domain names, security certificates, email packages, or premium themes/plugins. While we are happy to assist in finding the best deal for your website and adding your payment details to the required accounts. The payment will need to be setup with your banking details.
Project timeframe
A website build can take anywhere between 4 weeks to 6 months, from start to completion. The timeframe will depend on the complexity of the website, whether the content is provided at the start of the project, and if there are any delays with receiving feedback and revisions.
If it’s a small informational or service website, I may be able to provide you with a quicker turnaround time, than a website that requires accessibility features or an e-commerce website.
If you require assistance with writing content, developing SEO keywords, or in the middle of a rebrand and need products to be photographed, this will need to be discussed with me prior to work commencing.
Content (web copy, images, etc) are to be supplied at the commencement of the project. This is to avoid delays and ensures I can schedule the appropriate time I need for your job into my diary.
