The Links, Incorporated is an international non-profit organization established in 1946. It consists of over 17,000 professional women of color and has 299 chapters across 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom. As one of the oldest and largest volunteer service organizations, it is dedicated to supporting the culture and economic survival of African Americans and people of African ancestry.
Did you know that the Bucks County (PA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated has provided over $500,000 in scholarships to college-bound high school students? This chapter awards scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $4,000 to African American students who demonstrate academic excellence or potential, leadership, community service, and financial need.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Graduate from high school by August 31, 2026.
- Be accepted to a college or vocational-technical institution by June 30, 2026.
- Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Reside in Bucks County or attend a private secondary school in Bucks County.
