Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., is a non-profit organization that has its roots in community service and education. The aim of the Zeta Phi Sigma Tacoma Alumnae Chapter is to promote educational awareness, serve as advocates for social issues facing Tacoma, and provide opportunities for continuous personal and professional growth for its members and other women of color who are descendants of the African Diaspora female high school senior with a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

This SGRho Tacoma Young Achiever's Scholarship Fund will be used to award one of the non-renewable scholarships below. If selected, the applicant will receive only one scholarship.
- Up to $1,000 Scholarship (WA): Awarded to a BIPOC female high school senior, a descendant of the African Diaspora, who has been admitted to an accredited college or university and is a Washington State resident.
- Up to $1,000 Financial Rhoer Scholarship (WA): Awarded to a Financial Rhoer of the Zeta Phi Sigma Tacoma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., who is a BIPOC female high school senior, a descendant of the African Diaspora, seeking an undergraduate degree at an accredited institution.
- Up to $1,000 Scholarship (AK): Awarded to a BIPOC female high school senior, a descendant of the African Diaspora, who has been admitted to an accredited college or university and is an Alaska State resident.
- $500 Financial Soror/Philo Scholarship (WA): Awarded to Financial Soror or Philo members of the Zeta Phi Sigma Tacoma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., who are BIPOC females, descendants of the African Diaspora, pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at an accredited institution.
- $500 Golden 22 Foundation Undergraduate Book Scholarship (WA): Awarded to an undergraduate BIPOC female student, a descendant of the African Diaspora, enrolled in an accredited institution of higher learning.
- $500 Philo “Golden” Scholarship (WA): Awarded to a BIPOC female, a descendant of the African Diaspora, pursuing an associate degree or trade school education.
Awardees will be notified on or around mid-April.
