Everything you need to know about The Art of Stationery
Module One: Setting up and building your brand
We discuss how to build a trustworthy and professional brand, picking your niche to help you stand out in a saturated market and the importance of working with suppliers/wholesalers. At the end of week one you have the option to send me your branding where I can give feedback and pointers on improvements.
Module two: Business Strategy
We discuss what mistakes to avoid that most people don't, how to price yourself, building client trust and how to convert leads to order. This week I talk in detail and share my exact design process.
Module three: All things design
This week we talk everything you need to know about Adobe, I walk you through the interfaces of indesign and illustrator. discuss core design skills to take you from rookie to graphic designer and how to choose typography and colour palettes. This week I also provide design templates that you can start using yourself along with my font library of my go to fonts, as well as useable colour palettes.
Module four: Print, production & assembly
This week I walk you through Photoshop and how to create proofs, how to make your suites look luxury handcrafted rather than DIY bride, in-house vs outsourcing printing and their pros and cons and how to maximise your time during fulfilment for maximum profit. This week I supply a ready to use photoshop file for creating mock ups which I talk through how to use and navigate in the video.
What's included in the 4 week course
Each week you will receive 4 pre recorded videos for you to watch at your leisure, and can keep referring back to throughout your journey of starting your business. You will also be sent a pdf printed version of this which will have additional bits of information relative to each module including clickable links to my recommended suppliers, wholesale products and more. At the end of each week we will have a live zoom chat with everyone in the course, I will be keeping each course nice and intimate, so it's not overwhelming or intimidating for anyone. This is when we can discuss everything and anything, you can ask questions related to each topic or if something hasn't been covered that you would like to know, this gives an opportunity for you to take advantage of a more one on one coaching call. You will also be added into a group chat with everyone else on the course past, present and future courses to build a supportive online community where you can chat to like minded individuals and continue to gain further knowledge, advice and support as you navigate your way into the industry.
Price Breakdown
This 4 week course costs £700 and is secured with a £50 deposit, you can then pay the remaining £550 the month prior to your chosen course date, or in instalments in the months leading up.
