    In partnership with Davis Studio and Seven Days, Generator is hosting the NextGENerator: VT's Youth Maker Market and we welcome you to apply! This one day event is an opportunity for entrepreneurs, grades 3-12, to vend their products in a supportive & professional setting. This is a chance to network, connect, and sell your products to the public.

    Application Deadline Midnight on Sunday, January 18, 2026 

    Please complete and submit the application below in order to be considered as a vendor for the upcoming NextGENerator: VT's Youth Maker Market. We will send acceptance confirmation within two weeks of application deadline.

    • Generator Makerspace, 40 Sears Lane, Burlington, VT  

    *inclement weather date: April 4, 2026

    Pricing:

    • Vendor table fee is $20. (Payment required if you are accepted. Financial assistance is available if this fee is prohibitive). 

    Product Guidelines: 

    • No food or beverage products.
    • No products that might be inappropriate, restricted, or otherwise not permissible.

    The following Code of Conduct sets a standard that the Vendor participating in the NextGENerator: VT's Youth Maker Market will adhere to in order to create a positive experience for themselves and other businesses.

     

    Thank you for applying to participate as a Vendor in the NextGENerator: VT's Youth Maker Market! This opportunity will provide you with a chance to sell your work, network with other businesses, and connect with the public!


    Please take the time to read these expectations for your participation in this event:

    • The Entrepreneur (vendor) is responsible for conducting their business- including product development, booth setup, customer interactions, and money management.

    • None of the items sold at the NextGENerator: VT's Youth Maker Market will be food/beverage products or contain profanity.

    • Entrepreneurs will arrive at the event with all of their materials prepared for setup and enough inventory available for sale.

    • Entrepreneurs will be respectful to other businesses, entrepreneurs, customers, and Generator staff/space throughout the event. This includes using appropriate language.

  • Code of Conduct for the Vendor’s Guardian/Caregiver:

    The following Code of Conduct sets a standard for how the Guardian/Caregiver of the Vendor participating in the NextGENerator: VT's Youth Maker Market will interact and assist with the functions of the Entrepreneur’s business.


    Thank you for believing in your Entrepreneur and supporting their participation in the NextGENerator: VT's Youth Maker Market! We hope this opportunity will help your Entrepreneur grow, learn, expand, and explore new possibilities. 


    Please take the time to read these expectations outlining your role in this event:

    • The Guardian/Caregiver of younger Entrepreneurs may sit in their booth, but the Entrepreneur is responsible for the setup, sales, and interactions with customers. This event is designed to give Young Entrepreneurs a taste of what running a business is like. Please let them have that experience. You should not be interacting with customers on your Entrepreneur’s behalf.
    • Support your Entrepreneur’s curiosity by asking open-ended questions and problem solving through tricky business situations. 
    • Provide encouraging communication and allow your Entrepreneur to see the results of their hard work.
    • Treat your child as the sole owner of their business. Allow them to make the plans and decisions as much as possible. 
    • Allow your Entrepreneur to design the setup of their booth, design of their posters, and creation of their products.
