ABOUT THE MAN & WOMAN OF THE YEAR AWARDS
The Washington County Chamber of Commerce annually recognizes two outstanding individuals in the community.
Nominations are open to individuals who reside in Washington County. Applications can be submitted in person at the Washington County Chamber of Commerce office or by emailing the completed form to dawn@brenhamtexas.com .
AWARDS PROCESS
Nominations close automatically on Thursday, January 8, 2026. The Selection Committee is independent of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce. The committee will consider and prioritize the following criteria when reviewing nominations:
- Contributions to the Washington County community in 2025 and the lasting impact
- Evidence of professional and business excellence
- Exhibition of leadership
- Participation in community or state activities
- Contributions to local civic organizations over the years
All nominations must be submitted by 5 pm on Thursday, January 8, 2025. Please note that prior nominations (submissions of form/letters from prior years) may be considered if resubmitted by the January 9 deadline.
Winners of each award will be announced at the Annual Chamber & EDF Banquet that will be held on January 27, 2025 at Fireman's Training Center. To purchase a ticket or table to the Annual Banquet please visit www.brenhamtexas.com .
