Our Commitment
At DFW Rise Youth Sports, we believe in nurturing not just athletic skills but also character, discipline, and respect. As parents and guardians, your behavior sets the tone for our young athletes. We ask for your partnership in modeling the values we aim to instill in our players.
Expectations for Parents and Guardians
Lead by Example Policy
Demonstrate sportsmanship and fair play at every game and practice.
Encourage your child and their teammates with positive reinforcement.
Respect All Participants
Treat coaches, officials, players, and other spectators with respect, regardless of the game's outcome.
Refrain from using profanity, derogatory language, or gestures.
Support the Coaching Staff
Trust the coaching decisions and strategies implemented for the team's benefit.
Avoid coaching from the sidelines; allow coaches to guide the players.
Maintain a Positive Environment
Focus on the enjoyment and development of the game rather than the score.
Celebrate effort, improvement, and teamwork.
Address Concerns Appropriately
If issues arise, discuss them privately with the coach or appropriate staff member at a suitable time.
Avoid confrontations during games or practices.
Prohibited Behaviors
To ensure a safe and supportive environment, the following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
Verbal or physical abuse towards anyone present at games or practices.
Entering the field of play during games or practices without permission.
Consumption of alcohol or illegal substances on or near the premises.
Engaging in arguments or confrontations with officials, coaches, or other spectators.
Consequences of Misconduct
Violations of this code may result in:
Permanent removal from the DFW Rise Youth Sports program.
Our priority is the well-being and development of our young athletes. We appreciate your cooperation in upholding these standards.
