Couples Coaching Agreement - $500 Monthly Retainer

AGREEMENT:

This Coaching Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Thriving Relationships Now, represented by Mr. Ife Adingupu and Dr. Dami Adingupu (“the Coaches”), and the Clients. The clients agrees to engage Thriving Relationships Now to provide coaching services for their relationship.

1. Services Provided: Thriving Relationships Now agrees to provide two (2) coaching sessions per month for the clients. Sessions will be 60 minutes in length. Client will be automatically charged $500 each month to retain these services. Client are responsible for scheduling sessions. Monthly retainer charge will remain in effect until client notifies Thriving Relationships Now to discontinue coaching. Three month minimum commitment is recommended.

2. Nature of Coaching: We understand that coaching is a professional, growth-focused relationship, designed to support personal, educational, relational, or life goals. We understand that coaching is NOT psychotherapy, counselling, or mental health treatment. We understand that “Coaching” does not treat mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association. We understand that “Coaching” is not a substitute for therapy, psychotherapy, mental health care, or substance abuse treatment, and we will not use it in place of any form of therapy.

Professional referrals will be made if therapeutic services are needed.

3. Client Responsibilities: We understand that-

1. “Coaching” is a relationship we have with our coaches that is designed to facilitate the creation/development of personal, or relational goals and to develop and carry out a strategy/plan for achieving those goals.
2. Coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve all areas of our life, including work, finances, health, intimate and extended relationships, education and recreation. We acknowledge that deciding how to handle these issues and implement our choices is exclusively our responsibility.
3. Information will be held as confidential unless we state otherwise, except required by law.
4. Coaching is not to be used in lieu of professional advice. We will seek professional guidance for legal, medical, financial, business, spiritual and other matters. We understand that all decisions in these areas are exclusively ours and we acknowledge that our decisions and our actions regarding them are our responsibility. 

4. Additional Terms for Clients

The clients acknowledges and agrees to coaching that focuses on skill-building, emotional development, communication, and relational growth.

As a client, I understand that the coach must disclose information to the appropriate authorities if someone else is in danger or abuse, neglect, or exploitation is suspected, as required by law.

5. Confidentiality: All information shared is confidential except:

If required by law (e.g., harm to self/others, child protection concerns).
If the client provides written consent to share information.
We give our permission for Thriving Relationships Now to keep a confidential record of our name, phone number, and e-mail address in order to meet the requirements for coach credentialing by the International Coach Federation. We agree to let our coach to document the coaching hours with us for submission to the ICF for continued certification as a coach.

6. Scheduling, Cancellations, and Communication: Sessions may be held online or in-person. A 24-hour notice is required for cancellations. Missed sessions without notice may be forfeited. All scheduling will take place through thrivingrelationshipsnow.com, unless the coaches approve an alternative via email or text. Coaching is not provided outside of booked sessions.

7. Fees and Payment: The monthly retainer of $500 includes two coaching sessions per month with two coaches for a 2-on-2 coaching experience. Billing occurs automatically each month unless a written cancellation request is submitted.

Couples will be scheduled for joint sessions as our standard practice; however, when appropriate, individual one-to-one sessions may be provided.

Please note that unused sessions do not roll over or qualify for refunds. Additional sessions, if available, may be booked at a rate of $125 per hour/coach.

8. Termination of Agreement: Either party may discontinue coaching at any time with notice. The current monthly payment cycle will not be prorated.

9. Consent and Agreement: By signing below, the client acknowledges they have read and understood this agreement and consent to coaching services for themselves.

Coach Expectations:

• As your coach, we will keep what is said in our sessions confidential.
  Our role is to help you achieve your goals.
• We will encourage you to identify your vision, motivators, obstacles, and strategies to overcome obstacles.
• We will partner with you.
• We will listen attentively to you, without judgement or our own agenda.
• We will ask questions and encourage, shedding light on the knowledge you already possess.
• We will encourage and illuminate realistic goals and expectations.
• We will be direct, honest and open with firm feedback when necessary.
• We will help you identify creative solutions to help you through blocks and barriers to your goals.
• We will acknowledge when something is outside of our scope of expertise and will make referrals when necessary.

Client Expectations:

• We are ready to take responsibility to make and sustain change in our life.
• We are ready and willing to invest the time and other resources needed to make these changes.
• We will diligently complete the actions steps we agree upon.
• We will be open and honest.
• We are ready to become more self-aware.
• We are open and willing to try new things and think in new ways.
• We will be punctual and respectful of time, and responsive in communication.
• We will ask for support, feedback and resources that we need from our coaches.
