PKUC Accommodation Request
Information on the Accommodation you are applying for:

Pilbara Kimberley University Centres (PKUC) 3 Bedroom Student Accommodation is available for students undertaking practical placements required to complete a university course.

First preference for accommodation bookings will be given to students studying with PKUC Partner Universities – CQUniversity, Curtin University, Edith Cowan University, Charles Darwin University and University of Tasmania.

Accommodation is located within the suburb of Bulgarra and is close to local amenities:

200m – Bulgarra Oval

2km – Karratha City Centre (shopping centre, cafes and restaurants)

4km – Back Beach

For the term of your stay, guests will have access to a private and lockable bedroom furnished with a bed, study desk, chair and cupboards for storage, together with shared kitchen, bathroom, laundry, living and outdoor spaces that will be furnished with couch, dining table, white goods etc.

Guests are required to keep the premises clean, tidy and respect other guests at all times.

The cost of each room is dependant upon what subsibies the student can access through Federal & State Government funding and placements fees paid to you buy your University during your placement. Weekly cost to the student could be between $350 and $500 per week, inclusive of utilities (electricity, water, and Wi-Fi). The total cost must be paid in full prior to the Agreement commencement date and lease agreement being signed if you are successful. A $500 cleaning deposit is also payable upon execution of the Agreement.

A $100 fee will occur if you loose your room key.

The property is a smoke and vape free zone.

Applicants requests for accommodation will be assessed and PKUC staff will contact you within 5 working days, to confirm if your application has been successful or not.
