Convention Costs
The convention cost is $70 for delegates and covers dinner on Friday and lunch and dinner on Saturday. The convention cost also includes a convention T-shirt and access to all convention events.
Release of Liability
Attendees must obey all Conference Center and CCL rules, or risk expulsion from the convention at their own inconvenience and cost. The behavior of delegates and chaperones is the primary responsibility of their sponsor or teacher. Any damage caused by delegates will be the responsibility of the delegate and the parent/guardian of the delegate. All attendees are expected to wear clothing which is in good taste and is appropriate for a JCL convention. Medical supervision of delegates is the responsibility of their sponsor or teacher. Any concerns should be referred to the delegate’s sponsor or teacher.
Attendees understand and agree to the following:
- participation is voluntary,
- attendees will comply with all rules and regulations,
- attendees assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages resulting from their participation in these activities, including responsibility for using reasonable judgment in all phases of participation of the program,
- the activities may be hazardous, participation is solely at their own risk, and assume full responsibility for any resulting injuries and damages,
- it is the responsibility of the attendees to notify the appropriate person should an injury occur.
Statement of Faith
In order to participate in the convention, you must agree to the following statement of faith:
THE NICENE CREED
I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Only-begotten, Begotten of the Father before all worlds, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, Begotten, not made; of one essence with the Father, by whom all things were made; Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven, and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and became man; And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered, and was buried; And the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again with glory to judge the living and the dead, whose Kingdom shall have no end.
And I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life, who proceedeth from the Father; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets.
And I believe in one Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins. I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
Photo Release
Signing below indicates consent for CCL to use photos, video recordings, and other likenesses of the attendee for promotions and publicity, including but not limited to postings on the CCL website. The attendee’s name (or other identifying information) will not be included with the photo or likeness.
Signatures
Typing the names of the attendee and the parent or guardian in the boxes below will be accepted as an electronic signature providing permission for the delegate to attend the convention and confirming that the delegate and parent/guardian have read, understand, and agree to abide by all expectations.
For youth delegates, a parent or guardian must sign this release.
