Application for Assistance

Disclaimer: 

As of December 2025, the program offers help to households who can show proof of public assistance or limited income.

Assistance will not be provided if you are having your cat declawed.

Assistance is only provided through Kenai Veteranary Hospital.

No assistance will be given to "breeders." The clinic will let PSNF know if someone receiving assistance is a known breeder and therefore will have assistance retracted or denied.

Documents must be submitted with application

You will be contacted once the required documentation has been received

Accepted documents showing proof of public assistince:

Medicaid Card, Denali Kid Care Card, Denali Care, Quest Cards, Public Housing Assistance, Social Security Disability, Letter from Schools for Free and Reduced Meals

Accepted documents showing limited income:

1-2 person household: Form W2 or previous year's tax return.

3+ person household: If claiming more than 2 persons per household, then previous year's tax return.
