Apply for the Stanly Startup Program designed to help local entrepreneurs in Stanly County create captivating pitches to receive funding and start their businesses.
This application is for the Stanly Startup Funding Program hosted by the Stanly Community College Small Business Center. Participants who complete the full program will earn the opportunity to pitch for funding to support their business. Applicants MUST be in our service area.

Funding is awarded at the end of the program based on successful completion and meeting all eligibility requirements. Funding is not guaranteed for all participants and is based on the scores awarded by judges at the end of the competition.

It is recommended that all applicants enroll in the Stanly Community College Small Business Center Startup Certification to best prepare for the program competition and starting their business. The program is free, and more information can be found on our website by clicking here.

Participation in the Stanly Startup Program does not guarantee business success; however, continued support is provided through the Small Business Center after the program ends. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by March 4, 2025 by 11:59 PM. These participants will move on to Round 2 of the program which involves training, counseling, and business plan preparation.
