Cattle Ranch Hand Application

This is an entry-level full-time position with a competitive compensation package. We are looking for a hard working and disciplined self-starter, with experience in caring for livestock and ranch work. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Other general ranch duties, including welding, driving truck and other machinery, machinery and ranch maintenance, and fencing.

· Herd health, including treating cattle, tracking vaccine inventory, and communicating areas of concern with the team and our veterinarian.

· Calving both heifers and cows out of our January-March calving herd and our May-June calving herd.

· Breeding, including implementing AI protocols and monitoring natural service sires.

· Cattle handling, including sorting, moving, and working cattle with UTV and on horseback.

· Cattle nutrition, including feeding in a feedlot setting during winter months and pasture management during summer months.
